Function of Human Resource Management System (HRMS) to Fire and Rescue Department

Hi folks,

As we know Human Resource Management System (HRMS) is largely used by organization to monitor their most valuable assets, which are human being. To be equipped by latest and advance gears is not enough to carry out duty as a fire fighter. They need a lot of skill to have capabilities to handle and observe any emergency situation and make fast and correct decision. Thus, through constant training, they are able to do so. But, without any help from HRMS the Fire and Rescue Department will not be able to monitor all their staff that are in need of training. HRMS enable them to identify whoever need necessary training from time to time. Ability of HRMS to to stored data will benefit Fire and Rescue Department not nly time, money but also live of their human resources and also civiliant.

Thank You.

Information System Use by Fire and Rescue Department

Hi everyone,

There still a lot of thing we as a commoner didn't know about our brave and unsung heroes, the fire fighters. One of the thing that we know about them during the interview is how well develop and they are in term of integrating latest and advance technologies to carry out their duties smoothly. Some of the system is specially made for fire department only and not for other enforcement authorities.

One of the information system that they use is Incident Information System (IIS), this system is used to store data about any incident that occur within fire department job scope. They used this system to make report regarding an incident, some of the data is able to be publicly disclose and some of it remain as a secret and only few people is given authority to view the full report.

Other than that, they used e-log system that connect nationwide fire department to share about their staff data, the station gears and equipment, their logistics and stocks. This information enable them to monitor all equipment that are necessary for their duties and if there are any shortage of equipment of damage equipment, the higher authority can take action on it. Moreover, this system also help any fire station to borrow any equipment from neighboring station in order to carry their tasks effectively and efficiently.

Futhermore, Government Integrated Radio Network (GIRN) is used as communication system that able to connect them through radio frequency. In an emergency, communication is vital because miscommunication can cause fatal and unwanted incident.

Hence, there actually a lot more complicated task that have to carried by any fire fighters out there other that we commonly know, extinguished fire. Because of that, we should pay more respect to our heroes that risk their live out there to us feel safe and sleep peacefully at night.

Thank You.
